Hey there! My name is Abigail Moyers, but my friends call me Abby. I consider myself to be a person that other people like to be around, my day is made if I can make someone laugh or smile. My family, hailing from Plainfield Indiana, is very sports oriented. Both my brothers are quarterbacks, pitchers, and can shoot hoops like it's no one's business. My father was a successful High School football coach for 28 years, and my mother coached High School swimming and diving. After countless years of suffering through swim teams, soccer, basketball, and softball , my mom enrolled me in a theatre camp when I was 8 years old. It was there, on that church stage in a production of Suessical Jr. that I finally felt like I belonged. Since then, I have been involved in theatre all around the country and the high seas! 

 

I've been lucky to have worked with dedicated teachers and directors who instilled in me a passion and drive for the arts. The values and work ethic I developed brought me to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where I received my BFA in musical theatre. In my four years at UWSP, I was able to enrich my skills in not only acting, singing, and dancing, but also in makeup/ costume design, and wardrobe supervision. I am blessed to have made an extended chosen family at UWSP. My friends have helped me in both my career  and personal life and I would be lost without the support of those who have chosen to love me unconditionally. 

           

In my spare time you can catch me glued to the TV watching RuPaul's Drag Race (even though I've seen every season more than once), working as a substitute teacher for special education elementary students, kicking my friends butts at Mario Party, and cuddling with my fur baby Jude. I love a good iced coffee, so if you want to chat lets get some!
